15″, (38 CM), GLASS-EYED GERMAN SHOULDER HEAD DOLL. Lovely all-original German shoulder head (Simon-Halbig type look) with blue glass sleep eyes, finely painted eyelashes and brows, wearing her original blonde mohair wig, with blue silk ribbons over a plaster pate. She’s on a stuffed muslin jointed body with composition lower limbs, and wears an ice-blue pleated silk dress with pink silk ribbon bows at the shoulders and a sash at the waist as well as a lovely bonnet of cream silk and lace netting with similar pink bows. CONDITION: Excellent, extraneous dots of paint on left cheek, which can probably be removed. 1-7367 RS (500-700)
