LOT OF TWO GERMAN BISQUE CHARACTER DOLLS. a) 12-1/2, (32 cm), Googlie dolly from Armand Marseilles incised “241 0” on a fully articulated wood and composition body. She has blue glass side-glancing eyes, “button nose”, smiling watermelon-slice mouth, is appropriately dressed in a pink organdy pleated dress with silk ribbon bows, with a brown mohair wig and antique straw bonnet. CONDITION: Faint diagonal hairline on right side of forehead. b) 12-1/2″, (32 cm) German bisque portrayal of a Japanese child incised “Halbig S&H Germany 1329”. With olive tinted bisque, brown glass sleep eyes, open mouth with four upper teeth, on the original fully jointed body in excellent condition and wearing her original elaborate black mohair wig with silk ribbons and braided tassel. The printed kimono could be original.
