LARGE BAILEY MIDGET PIANO. The larger version of the Bailey piano, this one is emblazoned “Gem” above the keyboard with a multitude of china dolls that would dance about in front of a mirrored background when certain keys were struck. Construction is of cast iron legs supporting an ebonied wooden frame with a showcase type top. Circa 1870s, this is a most entrancing and amusing toy. SIZE: 19″ h. CONDITION: Overall fair to good with various cracks to the wood with small chips missing. Overall paint touch up. 1-7222 JL (400-800)
