14-3/4″, (37 CM), KESTNER GOOGLIE. Adorable and ever popular Googlie with head incised “F.Made in Germany. 10. J.D.K. 221. GES. gesch.” with oversized blue glass sleep eyes glancing to the right, broad watermelon-slice mouth, arched feathered eyebrows, painted upper eyelashes, on original fully-jointed toddler body, and wearing an antique bobbed human hair wig. She has been appropriately redressed in a one-piece red outfit with lace trim and matching hat, and newer patent leather shoes. CONDITION: Bisque head is free of damage with minor color loss on right cheek, body finish original with slight wear, other than repainting to the hands, and missing one finger. 1-7300 RS (3,500-5,500)
