9-1/2″, (24 CM), ALL-ORIGINAL JUMEAU CIRCA 1930. Late, but extremely good quality Jumeau, with closed mouth bisque head, blue glass paperweight eyes, on five-piece composition body, with painted slippers, stamped in blue “MADE IN FRANCE”. She has brown mohair wig, with glass jeweled tiara, and a two-piece sewn on dress with bodice of crushed royal blue velvet, with layered silk skirt with black trim, from her left wrist dangles a large round foil-covered tag reading “fabrication JUMEAU PARIS, MADE IN FRANCE”. Written in ink on the back described in French that it represents Queen Victoria I, circa 1850. Contained in its original pink box with Jumeau label.
