26″, (66 CM), TÉTE JUMEAU BÉBÉ WITH TRUNK AND MISCELLANEOUS CLOTHING AND ACCESSORIES. Closed mouth socket head bébé with huge blue paperweight eyes, thickly painted eyelashes and eyebrows, with an incised marking “12”, on original fully jointed fully composition body bearing remnants of an oval paper label reading “BÉBÉ JUMEAU Diplome D’Honneur”. She has long ago been well re-costumed in a heavy ivory silk two-piece dress with separate jacket, with pink ribbon, bows, and fine lace overlay to the skirt. The wig is honey blonde human hair with long curls over original cork pate, and the shoes white leather children’s shoes with pink leather trim, and pearl buttons closing the straps. CONDITION: Bisque head free of damage. Body has some crazing and paint chipping commensurate with age, hands have been repainted. 1-7317 RS (3,000-4,000)
