PETITE JULES STEINER DOLL. 10-1/2″, (27 cm), closed mouth doll, incised “A-2 PARIS”, also with a red stamp reading “LE PARISIEN”, she has blue-gray paperweight eyes, closed mouth, well painted eye lashes and eyebrows, pierced ears, on original composition body with straight wrists, jointed at the shoulders and hips. She wears an original silk and brocade wedding costume with long train, and carries a bouquet of flowers, with elaborate brown straw hat with plumes. The wig is original, and is of brown mohair upswept into typical style of the 1900s lady of high society. CONDITION: Very good, however, typical fraying of the silk to the costume. 1-7308 RS (1,000-1,500)
