21-1/2″, (55 CM), HERTEL & SCHWAB GOOGLIE. Unusual Googlie incised “163-9”, with molded red hair in the Campbell Kid-style, with blue glass sleep eyes looking to the right, one stroke eyebrows, painted upper and lower lashes, and open/closed smiling mouth. She is on a fully-jointed composition body (repainted). Redressed in a blue and white striped dress with blue and white sailor-type costume, and wearing newer leather shoes. CONDITION: Head very good, with minor irregularity to front neck socket; minor color irregularity to one cheek, body not original and disproportionately long. 1-7214 AT (1,800-2,200)
