LOT OF EIGHT POST-WAR LIONEL O GAUGE CIVIL WAR LOCOMOTIVES & PASSENGER CARS. American style locomotive and matching tender #1862. Loco has dull red cab, gray boiler, red wheels & dull red pilot with gold trim. Rear portion of cab on gray frame has a small piece of plastic broken off. Very minor paint aggravations on boiler. Tender is #1862T, lettered “W. & A.R.R. ”, is green with gold trim. Second locomotive is “No. 3”, bright red cab, all black boiler, gold trim, drive wheels & pilot are red. Locomotive is almost excellent. Matching tender #48045, is all black with bright yellow trim & lettering, reads “W. & A.R.R.”. 3rd locomotive #8004” with bright nickel boiler, dull maroon cab, trim, drivers & frame. Pilot & stack are black. Matching tender #48045 is dull maroon with gold trim lettered “R.I. & P.”. 4-door baggage car lettered “Western & Atlantic”, medium yellow with brown trim & roof. Has delightful patriotic emblem decals on sides of car. Numbered “1866” and lettered “U.S. Mail”. Very minor wear on edge of roof. Passenger coach numbered “1865”, reads “Western & Atlantic” above window, medium yellow with dark brown roof, has very minor paint wear on edge of roof. CONDITION: Overall near excellent.
