17” RARE SCHMITT BEBE WITH WAX HEAD. A very unusual Schmitt Bebe with a wax over head on a marked Schmitt body. Body is stamped on derrière with Schmitt mark and also has large oval stamp on torso. The doll has inset blue threaded paperweight eyes, is wearing antique clothing, shoes and original wig. CONDITION: Overall very fine condition. Wax has slight roughness to nose. 1-1024 JL212 (600-800)
