FOUR MEISSEN FLORAL AND GILT DECORATED BOWLS. First half 20th century. German. Each with polychrome painted floral spray within gilt cartouches, first two examples with scalloped edges, one on ivory ground, second with pale green ground. Third example bordered with gilt decorated grapevines. Fourth, a shaped rectangular example, with interlaced leaf tips, with gilt cartouches. Ivory and green impressed with “F152” on each with cross swords in underglaze blue. Third impressed with “Z99 1”, cross swords in underglaze blue. Forth impressed with “B185”, cross swords in underglaze blue, additionally marked with number “130” in iron red. SIZE: Ivory and Green: 11-3/4″ dia. Grapevine: 10-1/2″ dia. Rectangular: 2-3/4″ h x 12″ l x 8″ w. PROVENANCE: From a fine New Jersey home. CONDITION: Ivory bowl with shallow chip to under side of rim. Otherwise very good. Green bowl is very good overall.
