TWO SHAKER BASKETS. 2nd half 19th century. Small cat’s head example together with a larger cheese basket. The first circular basket fitted with a Bentwood handle. The cheese basket of flat, open weave. SIZE: 1) 8″h x 8″ dia.; 2) 8-1/2″h x 23″ dia. CONDITION: Cat’s head basket with repaired handle. The cheese basket with small breaks near rim, otherwise both good. 9-24417 (400-500)
