GERMAN PORCUPINE QUILL BELT. First quarter 20th Century Germany. The wide belt hand-stitched with porcupine quills in overall floral design centering a floral filled urn. The brass crest buckle with coat of arms of two lions centering a crown above a recumbent deer. The leather backing of the belt numbered “3930” and affixed with a paper retailer’s label “Hans Drinneberg, Karisrube/Schutzenstrasse 7, gartengebaude”. SIZE: Overall L 42″ x W 3-3/4″ CONDITION: Quill work in very good condition. Belt buckle remains very good. Adjustable section of belt with normal and expected wear. 9-25041 (600-900)
