CUSTOM BENCHMADE PARSONS STYLE GAMES TABLE TOGETHER WITH TWO BRASS SIDE TABLES. Third quarter 20th century. In the manner of the Parsons School of Design, Paris, France. The games table suede covered with polished brass trim. The top fitted with three covered compartments. The central compartment with backgammon board flanked by smaller compartments, each containing various game pieces. Raised on square legs with stepped returns. The brass side tables with ebonized lacquered accents each fitted with smoked glass insert panels. SIZE: Table: 27-1/4″ h x 48-1/2″ l x 24″ w. Side tables: 24-1/2″ h x 19-3/4″ l x 13-3/4″ w. PROVENANCE: Woolworth Collection (F.W. Woolworth Dept. Store). CONDITION: Structurally very good. Lacquered surfaces fair to poor. Suede with extensive staining and discoloration. 9-21325 (400-600)
