The walnut case of typical form with original glass tri-color tablets, the painted dial with Roman Numeral chapter ring marked “E Howard & Co., Boston”. Case retains original label on interior, with original engraved pendulum. This eight-day weight driven time piece with recoil escapement. Pendulum present, no key or weight. SIZE: 34″ l x 11-1/4″ w x 5-1/4″ d. CONDITION: Glass tablets original, throat glass with crack, original pendulum with tiedown, original works marked “E. Howard & Co., Boston #5”. Replaced dial and hands. Case has been rubbed down and oiled. 9-21168 (8,000-9,000)
