WHITE & SON SALT GLAZE JUG WITH POPPY DECORATION. Last quarter 19th century. The two gallon jug with the incised mark “N.A. WHITE & SON,/UTICA, N.Y.” above a stylized poppy floral sprig in underglaze-blue. The jug with applied handle at neck. SIZE: 14-1/2″ h. CONDITION: Minor shallow chips on edge of spout, otherwise structurally very good. Some minor losses to blue glazing in leaves. 9-22482 (200-300)
