RARE NEWSPAPER RUN OF BEN FRANKLIN’S PENNSYLVANIA GAZETTE (July 18th, 1754-December 31, 1754). The Pennsylvania Gazette, No’s 1334 through 1358. Bound together with no cover, the newspapers marked “Philadelphia: Printed by B. Franklin, Post-Master, and D. Hall, At the new printing office, near the market.” on every other issue. In these issues can be found stories of the day, information regarding lotteries, included on two front pages are charts or people admitted to the Pennsylvania hospital indicating there ailment and their prognosis. Lunacy being the second most common ailment. SIZE: 15″ x 9-1/2″. CONDITION: No front cover, first page loose from binding, some staining on issues October 10th through November 14th, last issue dark, some minor roughness to edges, a couple of edge tears & light stains but remarkably good. 9-23612 (10,000-15,000)
