EDWARD CHALMERS LEAVITT (American, 1842-1904) A BASKET OF ROSES. Oil on canvas still life scene shows a fixed handled rectangular basket filled with yellow & red roses. A half full water glass sits beside the basket and one red rose has fallen out. Signed lower right. Housed in a modern gilt carved wood frame having a wood gilt artist plaque. SIZE: 20″ x 32″.
