ATTRIBUTED TO JOHN SINGER SARGENT (American, 1856-1925) THE GIRL IN PINK. Unsigned watercolor shows a girl in a pink dress sitting on the edge of a beach with two other figures and two chickens. Housed in a modern gilt wood frame with linen matte having a gold edge, behind glass. A Coe Kerr Gallery, NY label on reverse. This watercolor was in the process of being researched at the time of Mr. Woolworth’s death. SIZE: Sight: 9-3/4″ x 17-1/4″. PROVENANCE: Robert Frederick Woolworth Estate, Monmouth, Maine. (F.W.
