GROUP OF ENGLISH PORCELAIN SCENIC TABLE WARES. 19th century. The first example, a cabinet plate with a central hand painted scene titled “State Street Boston” within a floral gilt border. Together with two cups and a matching saucer, each decorated with reserves of English landscapes within cobalt and gilt decorated borders alternating with fruit decorated reserves. SIZE: 9″ dia. plate; 2-1/4″ h cups; 5-1/2″ dia. saucer. PROVENANCE: From the private collection of Dorothy-Lee Jones. CONDITION: Very good overall. Painted scenes remain vibrant. 9-23325 (500-700)
