TWO CUT GLASS URN SHAPED VASES. Late 19th/Early 20th century. 1) This clear crystal example is engraved with Oriental influenced scenes with bamboo, herons and small temples. Signed beneath the lower border in script “W. Fritsche”. 2) Similar example engraved with scrolling cartouches of leaf tips interwoven with floral garlands and swags on a square footed base. SIZE: Each are 6-1/2″ h. PROVENANCE: From the private collection of Dorothy-Lee Jones. CONDITION: Both are very good with each having wear to the underside of foot from use. 9-23257 (800-1,200)
