FINE AMERICAN COIN SILVER CREAM JUG, WILLIAM HOLLINGSHEAD. Circa 1770, Philadelphia, PA. This nice example applied with an “S” scrolled handle. The body with scalloped everted rim decorated with scrolling leaf tips on an incised footed base with the hallmarks “WH” of William Hollingshead. Weight 146gr. SIZE: 3-5/8″ h. CONDITION: There is a small, shallow crease within the monogram, otherwise very good. 9-20440 (1,500-2,500)
