PHILLIP BROWN PARSONS (AMERICAN, 1895 – 1977) “CHURCH PARTY”. Unframed watercolor shows people walking towards a large church in a city setting with light cascading through trees. Appears to be a Boston scene with the Boston Common, possibly the Old North Church. The watercolor is mounted to a piece of cardboard which has a “BOSTON SOCIETY OF WATERCOLORS” label, with artist and title. The watercolor itself is not signed. SIZE: 22″ x 26″. CONDITION: Very good. 9-20032 (400-600)
