GARY KAPP (American, 1942-) DINNERTIME. Outstanding oil on masonite western scene shows two cowboys just arriving at a log cabin where a man hails them from the doorway telling them it is dinnertime. Low clouds and puddles indicate a wet day. Signed lower right and dated “79”. Housed in a fine weathered wood frame with gilt highlights and linen liner. SIZE: 24″ x 36″. PROVENANCE: Estate of Henry A. Rudkin Jr, (family of the founders of Pepperidge Farm). CONDITION: Very good to excellent. 9-98942 (3,000-5,000)
