TWO PIECES OF VICTORIAN GLASS. 1) 5-3/4″ h bust of Thomas Jefferson in frosted glass mounted on a black marble plinth. Bust relief inscribed “Thomas Jefferson 1743-1826”. Unmarked but probably Gillinder Glass. 2) 6-1/2″ h imperial purple slag glass owl jar made of two parts, the head being the cover. Interior having a paper label. PROVENANCE: Collection of Elwyn Dearborn, Medford, NJ & Portland, ME. CONDITION: 1) Chip to the inside of the collar and a small fleabite to pleated edge. 2) Very good. 9-96059-1 (150-250)
