NEW ENGLAND SHERATON FIGURAL MAPLE DROP-LEAF WORK TABLE. Circa 1840. The rectangular bird’s-eye top with rectangular hinged leaves and rounded corners above the conforming case fitted with two frieze drawers, raised on swelled cylindrical legs with ring-turned cuffs, terminating in brass-capped casters. SIZE: 30″ h x 17″ w x 20-1/4″ PROVENANCE: Collection of Elwyn Dearborn, Medford, NJ & Portland, ME. CONDITION: Professional cleaned, restored and polished surfaces. Stamped brass floral rosette hardware is old. Casters original. Overall very good. 9-95945 (500-800)
