CONTINENTAL PAINTED PINE MARRIAGE CUPBOARD. Circa 1851, Dutch or German. Polychrome paint decorated overall with floral sprays and ribbon tied bouquets. The cabinet grain decorated in mustards and browns. The concave molded cornice with applied cresting and canted corners fitted to the conforming cabinet, the frieze with painted panel, decorated with the name of the bride “Ursula Miker 1851″ above a pair of paneled faux grained decorated doors on a molded plinth, raised on block feet. SIZE: 68″ h (overall) x 48-3/4″ w (overall) x 21-3/4” d. CONDITION: Very good overall retaining original painted surfaces with normal and expected areas of abrasion to painted surfaces. 9-97184 (600-800)
