NEW ENGLAND QUEEN ANNE MAHOGANY & BIRCH TILT-TOP TABLE. Late 18th, early 19th Century. The hinged circular top tilting on an urn form turned standard, raised on an arched cabriole leg tripod base with pointed pad feet. SIZE: 28″ h x 29-1/2″ dia of top to 29-1/4″. PROVENANCE: Estate of Dr. Lee W. Richards Jr. of Augusta, Maine. Obstetrician & Augusta’s first specialist. CONDITION: Table is stripped of original red wash, now stained and polished a medium brown.
