NEW ENGLAND FEDERAL FOUR POST CANOPY BED IN RED WASH. Probably Coastal Maine, first quarter 19th century. The four swelled ring turned posts surmounted by a full arched canopy top. The headposts joined by a panel board, the frontal posts reeded and swelled, joined by square wood rails. SIZE: 72″ h of posts, 53-1/2″ w, 6′ length of rail. CONDITION: Structurally very good with professionally restored washed surfaces. 9-97235 (2,000-4,000)
