ANDREW NEWELL WYETH (American, 1917-2009) “FOG BELL”. Unframed limited edition signed lithograph made especially for the Penobscot Bay Medical Center by the Triton Press, Inc. NYC. Pen signed below image and numbered “84”. The image shows a tall pyramid shaped white clapboard building with large bell outside with house beyond. Because the artist signed in pen many of these prints when hung up and exposed to sunlight lost their signatures. This example is as original with a strong bold signature. SIZE: 32-3/4″ x 22-3/4″. CONDITION: Very good. Appears to be unused and we are told by the consignor that it was sealed in cardboard, placed into a closet and never framed since being sent to them by the medical center. 9-96296 (4,000-6,000)
