WAYNE BEAM MORRELL (American, 1923-) “VERMONT SUGAR HOUSE”. Outstanding oil on masonite scene shows a Vermont landscape with sugar house on banks of river with connected farmhouse and hills and mountains. The spring scene shows patches of snow but a sense of warmer weather to come. Signed bottom left. Housed in a modern gilt frame with linen liner. Back of masonite has Rockport Art Association label. Also a location of Jefferson, Vermont and indicates that this was in the collection of Lisa A. Morrell, 1986. SIZE: 24″ x 30″. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. 9-94223 (5,000-8,000)
