SET OF SIX ENGLISH ELM AND BEECH CAPTAIN’S CHAIRS. Circa 1850. Each angular pillow crest joined to the two-part barrel form mid-rail continuing to flat arms with outscrolled grips, joined to eight baluster-turn spindle supports above the shaped plank seat, raised on bell-turned tapered splayed legs, joined by a recessed box stretcher. SIZE: Each 31″ h. of back x 25″ w. of arms. CONDITION: Very nice cleaned surfaces. Structurally very good. 9-94068 (1,200-1,800)
