NEW ENGLAND SHERATON STYLE PINE CORNER CUPBOARD. Mid-20th century. The benchmade cabinet in two parts. The upper section with molded cornice and canted corners above the conforming upper case, fitted with a pair of glass cupboard doors opening to two shelves, joined to the lower case fitted with a pair of paneled cupboard doors opening to a shelf. SIZE: 84″ h. x 40-1/2″ w. x 28-1/2″ d. PROVENANCE: From an East Sangerville, Maine private collection. Made by the present owner’s father, Horace A. Fay, as a pair to the previous lot. CONDITION: Very good overall; the interior in light blue paint, the exterior with a honey brown finish. 9-94920 (1,000-1,500)
