GERMAN FOLK ART CHILD’S CARVED AND PAINTED FARMYARD WITH ACCESSORIES. 1st half 20th century. The farmhouse and adjoining barn on wooden walled platform fashioned from plywood and pine, the ornamented elements of tiled roof, windows, eaves, etc., all from molded materials. The model is accompanied by wells, troughs, etc. (all of wood and gesso), with a full complement of animals found on a working farm, each molded and mounted on a stand. The whole nicely polychrome-painted and decorated. The accessories are housed in a custom paint-decorated box and accompanied by a card denoting its maker as Stacy Timmer. Original art, made in Maine. SIZE: Overall table unit: 10″ h. x 29″ l. x 16-1/2″ w. CONDITION: Good overall, with wear and tear commensurate with use.
