EMILE VICTOR BLAVIER (French, 19th Century) “FREDERIC DE LATOUR D’AUVERGNE DUC DE BOUILLON 1641”. Fine detailed bronze of a Cavalier wearing a feather decorated hat, armor, boots with spurs and sword held at his side. Base inscribed with title and signed with date “1851”. The base has two protruding bottom pins, probably for a base which is not present. Also there is a drilled 1/8″ hole in base along with holes in the back shoulder strap which were used to mount to a building. SIZE: 21″ h. CONDITION: Very good, as noted above. 9-95294 (1,500-2,500)
