FOREST HART (American, Last quarter of the 20th Century) “THE DOMINANT ONE”. This bronze figure of a moose is a 1998 limited edition of 18, depicting a nine-year-old bull in his prime, “the ruler of his domain”. Mounted on a free-form bronze earthy base and signed thereon in script “Forest Hart 1/18 copyright 1998”. Further mounted on a rectangular polished black stone plinth. Affixed with brass plaque printed “THE DOMINANT ONE / Forest Hart – Sculptor”. Literature: Wildlife in Bronze by Forest Hart, 2005 catalog, see p. 62.
