WILLIAM JAMES GLACKENS (American, 1870-1938) BEACH TIME. Colorful pastel scene shows ten figures on the beach and in the water. Some have fancy summer dress while others are in bathing suits. Blue shadows are cast from the figures on the beach. A sailboat sails by a dock with large slide. All under a colorful sky with white clouds. Signed lower left in pencil “W. Glackens”.
