RUSS WEBSTER (American, 1904-1984) “CASCAIS, PORTUGAL”. Oil on canvas scene shows a small harbor with beach. Several small boats are seen, some with people, along a sandy beach. Harbor is dotted with moored boats all under a pink sky. Housed in what appears to be its original gold painted frame with linen and gold liner. This painting shows the influence that his friend, Emile Gruppe had, as they traveled and painted in Europe together. SIZE: 18” x 24”. CONDITION: Very good. 9-73506 (400-600)
