Primitively modeled in a red glaze depicting a broad bodied animal, the head raised as a handle with incised nose and eyes, the tail a conical spout. PROVENANCE: Fine private Long Island, New York mansion. SIZE: 8-1/4”h x 12”l x 6-3/4” w. CONDITION: Overall weathered surface with uneven coloration, a half inch chip on rim of spout, otherwise very good. 9-73962 SM (500-1,000)
