SCRIMSHAW DECORATED WALRUS TUSKS. Skull held tusks are outside scrimshaw decorated by Eskimos. One shows a man with bow and arrow shooting a polar bear with another in kayak next to ice flows. Other tusk shows two Eskimo families. Mounted on a painted wood backboard framed in molded mahogany. SIZE: Tusks are 24”. Overall is 36” x 12-3/4”. CONDITION: Very good. 9-71226 (2,500-3,500)
