UNUSUAL INDIAN SPLINT DECORATED UMBRELLA HOLDER, PROBABLY PIMA. This child’s cylindrical container with hand holes on either side, splint wrapped with diamond shaped design outlined in red and green. Late 19th/early 20th C basket, obviously made for commercial purposes of the day when umbrella holders were fashionable and common. SIZE: 23” h x approximately 13” dia. CONDITION: Very good to excellent with a couple of small losses on split wrapping at top and on side. Design slightly faded on outside compared to the inside. 9-71855 (600-900)
