SACHA MOLDOVAN (Russian/American, 1901-1982) “GIRL WITH DOG”. Oil on canvas colorful scene shows a young girl in blue dress walking up a path towards an opening in a white fence. A dog is seen going up the path and colorful flowers along the sides. Housed in a painted yellow and ivory fancy wood frame. Canvas is unsigned but the back stretcher has title and artist name. PROVENANCE: This painting was acquired directly from the artist at his studio in Peekskill, NY in the early 1960’s then acquired by our consignor. SIZE: 24” x 20”.
