CHINESE SCHOOL (19th Century) AMERICAN SHIP PORTRAIT OFF HONG KONG. Oil on canvas scene shows a black hull ship sailing left to right following a colorful Chinese junk with mountain in background. Ten figures on deck, ship is seen in full sail with American flag off back mast. Housed in a fine carved flower decorated teakwood frame. PROVENANCE: The J.
