LOT OF FIVE PIECES OF HISTORIC STAFFORDSHIRE. Lot includes: 1) 6” h x 9-1/2” square covered serving dish “City of Canterbury”. Cover with a large rose finial and dome shaped. Cover has two tight cracks and two small chips to finial. Base is very good. 2) 5-3/4” h x 10-1/2” covered teapot marked on the base “Union”. Probably from Union Pottery, England Circa 1830. Teapot decorated with flowers on a dark blue ground. 3) 8-3/4” plate with impressed mark “Rogers” decorated with a building and man on horse with other people. 4) 10” shallow bowl impressed mark “Clewes”. Scene with castle, water and people. 5) 10” plate marked “R. Hall’s Select Views Pains Hill, Surrey”. CONDITION: As noted above, otherwise very good. 9-28653 (300-500)
