MIKLOS (NICKOLAS) MIHALOVITS (Hungarian, 1888-1960) INTERIOR SCENE WITH NUDE. Oil on board interior scene shows an older gentleman with beard seated beside a standing half clothed young woman. She looks away and covers her eyes in shame while the man appears to plead with her. Signed lower left “Mihalovits, M 1920”. There is a pencil inscription with what appears to be a title, location and date. Housed in a fine carved wood gilt arts and crafts style replacement frame. SIZE: 23-1/2” x 19-1/2”. CONDITION: Some frame lines to very border, two light scratches in background, otherwise good. 9-29004 (2000-3000)
