OLIVER CLARE (American, 1853-1927) “STILL LIFE”. Oil on canvas scene shows purple plums, strawberries and green fruit against a leaf and woods background. An old label from Waller’s Gallery indicating title, artist and “Circa 1890”. Signed lower right and dated what appears to be 83. Housed in a gesso decorated frame with velvet liner. SIGHT SIZE: 9-1/2” x 7-1/2”. CONDITION: Cleaned with minor inpainting and craquelure. 9-29043 (2500-3500)
