Large oil on canvas scene shows a large freighter close to shore aground on rocks with lighthouse and buildings on point of land. Two figures are seen with dog on dirt path. Signed bottom right “W. Peirce” and inscribed “To Ken Fraser”. Also inscribed “To Ken Fraser July 62 W. Peirce” on reverse. Housed in its original painted gold and white wood frame.
