CHAPMAN (American, 19th/20th Century) GOLDEN SEASCAPE. Oil on heavy paper mounted on board scene shows a piece of driftwood close to shore with small waves and seagulls. A lone sailboat is seen on horizon. All with a golden hue. Signed lower right Chapman 84”. Probably Carlton Theodore Chapman. Housed in a fine arts and craft carved gilt frame with Milch Gallery, New York stamp. SIZE: 11” x 15-1/2”. CONDITION: Very good, some touch up to frame line. 9-26464 (1,750-2,250)
