SIMON WILLARD BANJO CLOCK. Unsigned dial and works, circa 1820. A later Willard clock with recoil movement as opposed to the earlier versions which had the deadbeat movement. Oversized, highly polished brass movement. Typical Willard case. Bottom glass is a replacement with fan on pink background. “S. Willard’s Patent”. Original throat glass in a mahogany case. Replaced eagle finial. Pendulum and weight present. SIZE: 34-1/2” h. CONDITION: Cracked throat glass, replacements as above. 9-93068 (5,000-7,000)
