Part way through the auction the computer system crashed, while the IT department worked feverishly for about 15 min to bring everything back up on line, Jim entertained the crowd with numerous humorous Yankee stories.

This sweet and classic looking early Steiff bear with button and provenance, including a picture of the little girl that once owned it was estimated at $8-12,000, it charmed many and finally sold for $21,330.

Jim Julia begins the auction each day. The extraordinary leaded glass shoe trade sign in the front generated tremendous excitement and interest estimated at $20,000 to $30,000, after a prolonged bidding battle it realized $106,006.

Wonderful brown tipped Steiff Teddy clown from the Steffes collection which brought a healthy $26,660.
